Founded by veterans of Boston's leading robotics companies, we're building warehouse automation that empowers operators.
Our story began at Kiva Systems, where we helped pioneer robotic fulfillment systems that transformed warehouse automation. Kiva was acquired by Amazon, bringing the technology to unprecedented scale.
From there, we built and deployed robotics across some of the industry’s most ambitious automation programs, including Amazon, Motional, 6 River Systems, RightHand Robotics, and others. Along the way, we developed a deep understanding of what it takes to make robotics work reliably in the real world.
Meanwhile, retail was changing dramatically: customers came to expect faster, more flexible, and more personalized fulfillment, while inventory moved closer to the customer. These shifts put growing pressure on retailers to achieve more speed and flexibility without sacrificing economics.
We founded Agency Robotics in 2024 to meet that challenge. Our modular, intelligent sortation systems give retailers the flexibility to adapt to changing customer demands while delivering a clear, compelling return on investment.
We met at Kiva Systems over 15 years ago and love solving hard problems together.
